There is a possibility of cold to severe cold days in the north-western areas of the country for the next 4 days.
However, according to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of relief from cold in the north-western parts of the country after about 3 days.

Winter will continue in North India
According to Skymet, there is a possibility of dense to very dense fog in the morning in some parts of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi between January 13 and 16 in the country.
There are chances of fog in parts of West Bengal, Odisha, Jammu division, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, North Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Tripura in the morning between January 13 and 16.
Delhi’s temperature is at its lowest level
The period of severe cold continues in Delhi. According to IMD, the minimum temperature in the capital is likely to be between 3 to 5 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature can remain between 17 to 20 degrees Celsius.
In the country’s capital Delhi, people may have to face cold, fog and cold wave throughout this week.
However, the lukewarm sunlight coming out for the last 2 days has given some relief to the people from the cold.
Weather Condition in Moutains
This time, less snowfall is being seen in the hilly areas compared to last year, although the severity of cold is quite high.
Yesterday the temperature in Shimla was around 3 degrees Celsius, while the temperature in Kullu, Bhuntar and Dharamshala was around four degrees Celsius.
There is a possibility of no snowfall for the next 4 to 6 days.
